The Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad held a graduation ceremony for postgraduate students in the Department of Accounting Studies in its two specializations (chartered accountant and Cost and managerial accountant) for the academic year 2024/2025.
The ceremony was held in Al-Idrisi Hall in the College of Science, University of Baghdad. The ceremony began with a blessed recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, and a valuable speech on this occasion from the Dean of the Institute, Legal Accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, about the importance of the continuous efforts of postgraduate students in the Department of Accounting Studies and its culmination in scientific progress to reach the graduation stage, which I consider the stage of reaping the fruits of graduates.
The ceremony was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Wafaa Hussein Salman, Assistant Dean of the Institute, and a number of lecturers and postgraduate students in the Department of Accounting Studies.
The institute’s necklace was distributed to the graduates of the Accounting Studies Department. At the end of the celebration, the dean of the institute stressed the responsibility that lies on the shoulders of our institute’s graduates who have an effective role in building Iraq by assuming various senior positions in all state institutions.
