Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Thajeel Al-Maamouri, the Institute’s Continuing Education Unit is holding a workshop entitled “E-Marketing” in the Institute’s auditorium. The workshop was lectured by Assistant Professor Dr. Maha Sabah Ibrahim, Head of the Department of Financial Studies, and Lecturer Nour Ali Salman, Head of the Citizens’ Affairs Unit at the Institute. A number of faculty members and graduate students from the Institute participated in the workshop.

The workshop demonstrated that digital developments have imposed a new reality, in which e-platforms have become a primary tool for reaching and interacting with customers directly and effectively. Traditional marketing is no longer sufficient; it has become imperative to adopt digital strategies based on data, smart communication, and modern technologies. The concept of e-marketing and its effective implementation is one of the most important success factors for any organization seeking excellence and competitiveness.

These activities are classified within the environmental and sustainability objectives to achieve Goal (9) of building a resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable manufacturing, and supporting innovation.
