The Post-graduate Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Baghdad held a competitive examination on Monday, June 30, 2025, for graduate applicants competing for admission to accounting specializations (Chartered Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting) and financial specializations (Bankes, Taxes, Insurance). The competitive examination was conducted in accordance with ministerial regulations and instructions, under the direct supervision and oversight of the Dean of the Institute, Chartered Accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Assistant Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Wafa Hussein Salman, the Head of the Accounting Studies Department, the Head of the Financial Studies Department, and the examination committees. Personal interviews were then conducted on the same day for graduate applicants after they completed the competitive examination. For his part, the Dean of the Institute emphasized the importance of providing all necessary requirements, creating an appropriate environment, and preparing examination halls. He emphasized the need for graduate applicants to adhere to ministerial regulations and instructions and directives.
