Under the supervision of the Dean of the Post-graduate Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, Chartered Accountant Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad Thajil Al-Maamouri, the Institute’s Continuing Education Unit is holding a workshop entitled “Artificial Intelligence, its Importance, and Legal Dimensions” in the Institute’s auditorium. The workshop was lectured by Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Ismail Muhammad, a lecturer in the Department of Accounting Studies, and Legal Advisor Nibras Hashim Khalil from the Institute’s Legal Division. A number of instructors and graduate students from the Institute participated in the workshop.

The workshop explained the foundations of artificial intelligence and websites, their origins, their scientific importance, their importance to students and researchers, the risks of using these websites, and how to protect data and information.

The workshop concluded with a clarification of the legal framework and its importance in all medical, social, cultural, economic, and other fields. These activities are classified within the environmental and sustainability objectives to achieve Goal (9) of building resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable manufacturing, and supporting innovation.
